I watched the anime lol so I'm good on that part. 

As far as I could tell you don't get to choose,  you have to go through the PSP game first. They may have changed the very beginning to introduce the Hallowed area but after that I think it goes back to the original but I have no clue if I'm right.

Oh okay I hope that's true because that would suck to play second game then first lol.
