I'm all for indies,but there seems to be an oversaturation of them. this can actually hurt the market in my opinion. If these small companies can't afford some great marketing,then no one will buy the game. Since there's an over abundance of indie companies,companies have to try that much harder to make there game stand out in the crowd. It's just a never ending viscuious cycle. I love and apperciate the retro feel of most of these indie games,but there's a lot of younger gamers,that can't see the beauty in that. I'm also curious to know how these indie games do sales wise. I personally think most of them flop,but it's a tough hard market to begin with.
