A large number of people seem to think that the first amendment gives them the right to say whatever they want wherever they want, when it just prevents the government from making laws restricting freedom of speech (and a few other things). Establishments are still allowed to make their own rules, and I don't think anyone would object to schools suspending someone for saying "fuck you" and things like that using the first ammendment as a basis. 

Its a stupid rule, but I really don't think it is violating any constitutional right, but I'm no expert in law ._.

(public) schools are public space where the first amendment from my limited understandings of law should be applicable

personally I consider myself more of an atheist, but limiting a "bless you" and threatening a student with suspension because she used it, really? that sounds incredibly dumb to me
