It's not the "bless you" that's the issue. The teacher has incredibly stupid rules about certain slang rules the kids can't say.
"Bless you, hang out, my bad, dumb, stupid, stuff, and things like that," Turner said.
Those are the words Turner said are banned by her computer teacher at Dyer County High School.
Rules like that with no basis or reason for why are why students don't respect teachers like that. A blanket "no talking during lecture" rule would've sufficed, but this type of micromanagement is completely uncalled for.
