Isn't Yoshida talking about how the PS4 is selling so well despite the previous assumption that dedicated video game hardware would be in decline? Or something along those lines? I may have misread his quotation, though. I think the PS4 sales are as high as they are partly because of the promise of what the hardware can do, with no real alternative for a console experience replacement yet. I'm not speculating on why it's outselling the other consoles, though; just speculating about why dedicated gaming hardware isn't in such a decline.
