Miiverse sucks?
???
So.. What exactly makes you say this?
To use Playstation home as an example, I would say that PSHome was GRAND idea executed by a mind unfit for the task of bringing this GRAND idea to life as it should have been. So basically, Home is just a big ass pile of potential that Sony just sat on. They didn't know what the fuck they needed to do to bring that ambitious project to life as it was supposed to be.
I'm not sure if it's more of the fact that Home was simply just too ambitious for it's time or the fact that Sony didn't have the right mastermind behind the project.
I basically look at Miiverse as a scaled down PSHome. Nintendo simply created an extremely simplified PSHome with Miiverse on WiiU.
Like PSHome, Miiverse is a platform on the system where Nintendo gamers around the world can meet and talk about their favorite games via the communities OUTSIDE of playing an actual game.
A short while back, i hopped on the WiiU and was about to check out Miiverse for a quick second and i seen a bunch of people talking about this new game called The Letter. I LOVE that type of sh!t. Being able to see what is going on in the Nintendo world and what people are currently playing and talking about.
From what i've seen, it's just a nice and peaceful non-fanboyish place where regular people who enjoy Nintendo games can come and discuss them among like minded people. I dont want to get on Miiverse and see a bunch of fanboys shouting "Playstation SUCKS!" or "Xbox SUCKS!" Dont nobody want to see that lame-nerd-ass'd sh!t.
The same goes for Playstation. I dont want to get on Playstation and see "Xbox SUCKS!" or "Nintendo SUCKS!". I would only want to discuss with regular people who happen to like Playstation games.
I think Nintendo needs to update the way people are allowed to discuss in the communities though. They need to make it a bit more open.
So what exactly dont you like about it?
