Makes perfect business sense. Spend your money on graphics to please the few people who actually care for a Sonic game while pissing off the majority of your customers with a rushed project to ensure that they will hesitate to buy your games in the future.

I don't know about you, but I care about gaming sense, not business sense. I say put effort into making good for the HD so it will sale well like Ratchet & Clank, a great platformer. The Wii should be the console Sega uses to cash in off of.

 

I don't want to criticize your thinking, you are well entitled to your opinion.  But if it is truly about gaming then all efforts shall be made to maximize the game in each platform using all of its capabilities and features.  To use one console to "cash in" and make real efforts to another console would be disrespectfull to the gamers of that platform.
