Great interview, sounds like a cool guy. The EA matter sounds a bit embarrassing though, I think they would benefit from saying what the reason is, they want to focus on PS Now and EA access takes away some of that focus, which doesn't benefit Sony. And from that perspective, it is probably a good thing to skip EA access right now.

I think they have been saying the reason and its what most people here have also said. I don't think it has much to do with PSnow cause that service works for every publisher on a game by game basis. EAs games will be on it too.

The real reason and as they have said, is what happens if every publisher does the same thing too. I like a lot of other members here have been saying this same thing and I don't understand how some people can't see how that is a big issue. Everyone is already talking about cutting the wire in regard to TV subscriptions and modernizing the TV distribution model yet we are about to openly embrace the exact same thing for games? EA access will just be the start, by the time every publisher does it, someone will come up with the great idea of having a service that has all the publishers services tied into it and having users pay as much as $50/month for such a service. And just like that, game distribution has become like TV.
