I don't think everyone is mindlessly hating. Just feel there is a fair bit of mindless hating going around. And I know you aren't hating here but was trying to point out a certain usage scenario.
What I would say is this, someone buying a PS4/XB1?WiiU... must have seen something already that in their heads justifies the purchase of one over the other. Exclusives are great but the total amount of content you get on a platform is more important. I know there are always exceptions, but I really don't think people buy a console only to feel let down cause there aren't 10 exclusives made for it that year and unhappy that every other game he gets for the console can be bought on other consoles. If that were important to such a person, then the person shouldn't have bought the console to begin with.
Before buying a PS4 i sold my PS3. I was done with it. It doesn't matter to me if Destiny, MGS, watchdogs...etc are all also on the PS3 or any other platform. There is only one place I can play them and thats my PS4. I bought the PS4 so I play very game released from ending 3013 and up on the new console. Not for any one game or the other. I may think differently, but if anyone buys a console for a as yet unreleased game and gets upset when that game is delayed or feels theer is nothing to play on the console while waiting for that particular game, then its no ones fault but his own.
