I just want different kinds of games than what's being offered right now. I haven't seen much that feels decidedly Japanese, and that's what I want from the new consoles. Most of the high profile games on both PS4/XB1 are mostly Western AAA titles or feel like Western AAA titles, even if they come from Japan. That's fine if that's what you want, but that's not what I want, so I'm not convinced yet.
I'm holding out until TGS to see what Japan has to offer for the PS4, and if I'm not convinced I won't be getting it yet. Currently I'm holding out until 2016, though if PS4 doesn't get what I want, I may not buy one at all and just get a PS3 instead.
