On console, I stick with the ingame soundtrack, and when I can choose from the ingame music (EA Games) I usualy choose rock music.
On PC (especialy with racing/RTS games), it's GN'R, Metallica, AC/DC, Megadeth, Aerosmith... and all the great guitar players.
By the way, it's F-Zero X who made me an electric-guitar fan
