I just saw this on gametrailers, its more of a convient way to sign up for it, if your a hardcore gamer and what to play with the Japanese PS3 owners. All you have to do is sign up and then wait till the Metal Gear Online beta pack is released on the PSN Japanese Store and you can play :)
