Ok, wait... No battle modes? Those are fun. One thing I didn't like about Double Dash was the difference in 2 and 3 player gaming. I'd like 2, 3, and 4-player split screen gaming to always include the AI drivers. I thought the lack of AI drivers in 3+ players made the mode a bit less interesting. If the Wii version drops all AI drivers in any multi-player, that's a huge downer. Anyone care to explain all the play modes available comparing to Double Dash? Fill in the blanks or correct my post as needed:

Single Player - Play against AI or against a WIFI opponent
Multiplayer 2 player splitscreen. Race each other. No AI characters
Multiplayer 3+ players splitscreen. Same --
2 Battle Modes -- Balloons and Coins.  Bombs seem to be missing.

 

** edit ** I found 2 offline battle mode (multiplayer) on IGN.  Coin grab and balloons...
