I also feel like prof is exploiting weak points instead of using synergy like we did on day 1 and that's why he's actually bubbling up to being my greatest suspect. Notice how he had no problem with Sparks buddying up with him on day 1 bar his light comment "I'm not too easy with Sparks buddying up with me" which is not enough at all when someone is just buddying up with you for the sake of it. I mean Sparks admitted not having any reason to be on auron and was not voting prof just because he wanted him around. If one's town I'm not sure that kind of buddying up is just distanced with a small "I don't like it" but would have to be faught as town fights scum. Did you also notice a change in prof's play since day 1? Do you also feel uneasy with how he placed his votes on day 1 staying on outlaw for most of the day with little reason and then didn't remove after outlaw's interrogatory? |
I know why you announced you were vanilla, we've explained this multiple times and we're on the same page. Now it's well known prof was my biggest suspect yesterday. After the events of this morning, I began to wonder. Spurge definitely used his role successfully to protect someone, but did he protect someone worth protecting? I wasn't sure, I'm still not sure. With most of my theories from yesterday being called into question by the evidence, I wasn't sure what to do, so I've layed off of prof. I honestly thought there were better lynch targets with the evidence we have. He has been slowly bubbling towards being a big suspect again, however, because he seems to be trying to create paranoia.
I agree that on day 1, he was a little too okay with being buddied up with. It seemed like a calculated thing, like he was trying to distance without seeming too much like he was distancing. I thought the same with him and RCT. I don't know if you remember all my "prof is scum, he's on a team with so-and-so" arguments, but what you're saying about Sparks here is something I've already talked about hundreds of posts ago. I'm not sure at this point if this argument holds any water, as prof has certainly changed his attitude about Sparks. He's either trying harder to distance himself with Sparks, is just a townie who's finally going after Sparks, or he's trying to frame Sparks.
Yes, I did notice his change in style. Sparks made note of it too. I always felt uneasy about his voting outlaw with little reason even after we'd pretty much decided outlaw was fine. It was mostly due to his insistance on that stupid experiment, which still pisses me off, especially when it all felt like a plan to outsmart your plan to save outlaw while still keeping your power. He spearheaded that stupid experiment plan, and I'lll never fully forgive him for it.
