As you may have read, Microsoft has struck a deal to have Tomb Raider exclusive to XBox (timed exclusivity, details are still sketchy)

Should they continue to lag in sales behind PS4, it's not out of the question to have them purchase another established franchise to help them with console sales.

I have made a brief list of those that I believe have a chance to receive Microsoft's financial assistance, while leaving out ones that are unrealistic (CoD, GTA, Assassin's Creed).

My vote goes to Resident Evil, what are your favorites?

Whilst those games are all potentially buyable, I think the other factor we're not considering here is impact.

Saint's Row is enormous fun, I like it more than GTA. But are people going to buy a console for it? A stretch.

Of the ones you've listed that could have an impact, Fallout is probably at the top. But I just don't see it's owners going for a deal that involves no PC launch...and the dedicated fanbase (that might purchase a console to play the game) is the PC fanbase.

Madden would be the best one for them to buy, but I am pretty sure the NHL would have some sort of contract stipulating the games have to come to all viable platforms so it might not be in EA's capability to offer this.
