Well, they said similar. So, the similarity is that the XBox version will be publushed by Microsoft. The rest can be completely different. 

Unless XBox version achieves unbelievable levels of popularity and MS decides to throw more money at SE for continuing exclusivity, there is absolutely no reason anyone should assume that it's not coming to PS4.

No, the similarity, expressly stated, is to the Dead Rising deal. Currently, no one expects Dead Rising to end up on PS4.

You have it the wrong way around, there is no reason to assume the game is coming to PS4 - aside from people with no inside information but a heavy bias (eg. poster after you) hoping that it will. Could it? Sure. Is there any evidence whatsoever to indicate it will? No.

But if you're taking DR3 as a basis for your assumption, their correct wording would be "same as DR3 deal", not "similar". And "similar" means that this deal and DR3 deal are different.

How different, we don't know. So, both our assumptions are just that...assumptions. And the possibility of a PS4 port is 50:50.

That's why OP is confused, everyone else is confused, and different people have different expectations. Some are optimistic and some are pessimistic.

And if people with "heavy bias" expect a PS4 version, then those denying that there will be one can also be seen having "heavy bias" for the competition.
