I think 900p to the PS4s 1080p is a acceptable standard that the XB1 should be ok with. And everyone else for that matter unless they are anal (PS4 fans) or delusional (XB1 fans).

While, I do somewhat agree with what you said before this sentence. I do not agree with this. No, a 900p framerate to a 1080p framerate is not acceptible if one is paying the same money for both consoles. It would be acceptble if it were 100-150 dollars less than the ps4.

I know where you are coming from, and in all honesty the XB1 should cost less than the PS4. If looking purely from a performance perspective, there simply is no reson the XB1 should cost as much as the PS4. However, the XB1 compared to the PS4 was just bad design all through. In truth, its not really bad design its just bad compared to the PS4. MS technically spent more to get less. Thier APU costs more than the PS4s more powerful APU, though that was cause they had to put the SRAM in there and move engines to compensate for the cheaper but slower DRAM.

So you are right, MS should basically just accpet that their XB1 can never really match the PS4 pound for pound and try to attack the PS4 by being the always cheaper box. I mean even if sony dropped their price to $100 the XB1 should come in at $98. MS will no doubt hope that their first party offers can skew the comparisons though. That way they can say... hey its not our fault other devs can't get their games running at 1080p, just look at ours. Though right now games like Titanfall or Ryse wouldn't be making too good a case for them.

If 900p becomes the norm or standard for XB1, then there console should always cost less than the PS4. In a perfect world.
