With a mafia doctor, what are the consequences of leaving him alive? It's an incredibly important role for town, but with mafia it seems less important since it can't protect them from a lynch. So it might not matter to leave him alive. On the other hand, the way I see it, he has to be mafia. Why would a townie lie about being the doctor? To draw attention away from the real doctor, I suppose, but it still rubs me the wrong way. We know the exact bodyguard description, and I didn't see anything that prevents him from saving a doctor. Cone pretty much gave us his description, and it didn't seem to say it couldn't target the bodyguard. Honestly, that whole exchange with him screamed of a noobish slip on his part. I believe he said he's new, and he really did seem to not know what the doctor was. I only know myself because it was one of the two power roles in the IRL game I played.

So as far as I'm concerned, Cone is definitely the doctor. And as far as I'm concerned, it seems incredibly likely that BG and Doc could target each other here, based on the known BG description and an almost-known Doc description. It seemed like Cone's description triggered WoW's warning, so I'm thinking it's pretty accurate, though perhaps not complete. So the question remains, as I see it, as to whether or not WoW thinks that having a BG and Doc on the same team that can target each other is a game breaker or not, or if he just missed that. I get the impression that WoW has experience as a moderator, so I don't think he'd miss that, and it seems like the most broken thing ever. If Doc and BG ever figured each other out, it would guarantee either a town win or at the worst a tie. So I think Cone is mafia. I feel like if by the end of the day, he's still our best lead, we should vote for him, but if not he can wait a night because his power isn't that terribly useful to the mafia and like you said, the mafia will kill him if he's the town doc. Only question is, now that we're on to him, will he use his power on himself as protection against vigilantes? We may have to lynch him eventually.

I agree, if he's a mafia doctor, then it's not all that powerful of a role. Yeah, we may have to lynch him eventually, if that is indeed the case.
