Hmm there goes that theory.
sorry guys that ive been a little pushy in the last page or so. I had an overarching theory and have been questioning all the little puzzle pieces and they were all falling in together.

to the impossible protection setup
Basically, my theory was that when rct claimed bulletproof yesterday, he was actually referring to another protective source, say, a doctor.
then today he loses it and sparks says its odd for mafia to target him instead of maybe a different vest target. My assumption this far was that sparks and rct schemes during the night to work out this bulletproof claim. Rct would claim to have lost the protection, leaving the opportunity to someone having stolen it. Rct confirms that he was never informed of being attacked. The stone being stolen was one of the only three discussions sparks took part in yesterday, and if you read the day under the assumption that sparks took it, his posts actually start making sense.
this wpuld give rct town cred as he was possibly attacked by a mafia, and give sparks a fake role to claim..
But then the whole problem came in about overprotected town with an unsolvable combo of doc bodyguard and then vest too. Plus, the thief theory was a little complicated. Instead, if cone is actually a mafia doctor, and so was sparks and rct, cone could have protected rct last night, and had the ability to make ot look like spark had a vest as well. This would explain things a lot better and was a lot simpler.
The only problem is why wpuld mafia have a doc. The two answers are vigilante or serial killer or both. However we only have one confirmed attack last night. The answer wpuld have to be that a serial killer or vig targeted rct while he was protected.
But now that we know cone protected padib, that part kin of falls apart.
