Most people dont't see the point in buying an AIO but I like them more than classic desktop PCs or laptops. I used to have an iMac 21'' from 2007 to 2013, now I have the Dell XPS One 27'' with BR playback, Win 8 and an excellent touchscreen display.

It's arguably the currently best AIO on the market (not counting the current iMac 27, which surely is great as well but doesn't have an internal disc drive or a touchscreen), but it costs 1000$ more than you plan to spent.

Most important imo: If you want to buy an AIO, compare the displays in a store or at least via Youtube videos (on YT you'll find videos for almost any AIO). There are huge differences.

How about this one? (Mind you, I don't know anything about the display quality):

Disclaimer: I'm not a Dell employee, just content with their 27'' AIO

thanks for your help. It's something for me to look into.
