You said you descided to get the upperhand. When exactly did you descide to do that? Was it the night before? Was it this morning? What caused you to make that descision and ultimatly reveal that you had been attacked? Also when the votes were on you, why did you give up? Theprof and sparks at the time were starting to make good points to vote for outlaw instead? You said you wanted town to win so why not fight as theprof did and as sparks did? The truth always comes out and in retrospect it looks more like you gave up and lost hope because you knew you were guilty and were caught. Please note I'm not making any judgments, I'm not even voting yet. Simply making observations and if those observations are wrong then I hope theprof, sparks, padib, trucks, and smeags can help clear that up. Also i was just wondering, why didn't you put your vote back on outlaw? What was the reason you kept your vote off and open in the end? Perhaps you missed it but I did question whether or not TheProf was telling the truth about being attacked and being protected by spurg. From the falvor text it is most likely that spurge did die protecting someone. I'll ask again, what is the possibility that WoW would word the flavor in that way if spurg was just attacked and not protecting someone? No one else has claimed they were protected, and spurges flavor death indicates he was protecting someone so until someone else says they were protected I find it unlikely theprof was lying. Also for all those that have more experiance with WoW games, has WoW ever made mistakes before with lore? Is there precident to believe that the beaststone error was because WoW screwed up lore, or is it more likely that RCT may have confused his possible fake claim? |
All excellent points. Let me try to bring in some clarity:
1. My zero hope came because I saw the tides turning against me quickly and I didn't think so many people would "unvote" me. I came back after a half day or so and suddenly saw seemingly everyone against me. It was before everyone started to decide to test the theory about protection for outlaw. I don't think anyone anticipated the voting frenzy that happened at the 11th hour, and especially me. That's why I gave up and told everyone my role so they could at least know I was telling the truth once I was lynched. I didn't fight because I didn't respond properly to the initial accusations and everyone took my silence as means of guilt. I had zero idea on how to defend myself in that short time, so I simply gave up.
2. I decided the "upperhand" thing when I got note that my beaststone was missing this morning. When I saw the note, I had thought at the time that someone tried to attack me and knew I was vulnerable, so I decided to tell everyone right away before the person that tried to kill me would try to turn everyone against me. It ended up being a bad idea as later theprof00 pointed out that the fact that it was missing indicates someone took it instead of it being used, wich would correlate with me admitting my role last night. Now someone has my stone and I'm guessing is attempting to get me lynched.
3. I don't necessarily question that theprof00 is lying about being protected, I'm just kind of upset that it's never gone into as extensive questioning as my testimony. I also want to say that being protected doesn't mean that spurge knew that theprof00 is town, or that he even is 100% town. I know Spurge protected someone, but I was curious if someone quiet had actually been protected and wanted to see if someone would call theprof00 out. From no accuations, I now believe theprof00.
In regards to WoW's error, maybe we can look into his Fire Emblem collection and see how extensive his knowledge is. It kind of sucks for him, because admitting a mistake brings out bias and "divine intervention" that would make the game unfair, but keeping silent puts unnessecary "evidence" against me that shouldn't exist in the first place. Personally, I think it's kind of a fun extra layer, abit frustrating at the same time. I don't blame WoW.
This is what I could do for my luch break. I'll be back in 4-5 hours to answer any follow-up questions. :)
