Not that i have an opinion on the matter, but the racist person will likely mention that Egyptians and certainly Sumerians are not Sub-Saharan Africans and are vastly different in terms of genetic affinity (Africa is the most diverse [genetically] continent, so much so that two populations in Africa can be more genetically different in terms of affinity than Europeans and Australian Aborigines, for example.) The Sahara acted as a barrier, and while there was some geneflow to North Africa (10-20%) it won't affect their abilties (again the normative statement is according to the racist, not me.) Basically to a racist/racialist Egyptians and Sumerians, even if they have/had skin as dark as some Sub-Saharan Africans are not part of the same race as Sub-Saharan Africans (race is more than skin color to them.)
