Funny thing is that Koeman left Feyenoord cause he knew his best players would be sold this summer and he could not to any better (2nd place) then last season with the team that would be left over (even with new players) and now at Southampton he has exactly the same problem.. I think not relegating is already good at this point for Southampton

Most people think that, I do too, so we won't be pushing for Europa league any time soon. Maybe Keoman was offered a deal, we'd already sold Lambert by the time we got him in and our board said no one else would be sold until we get a new manager.

This was exactly true, as soon as we hired Keoman peopl started leaving. I think that he was talked to and told 'Look we have offers for a number of players, are you happy to let them go, if we get good replacements for them.'

This would allow him to build his team as opposed to taking someone elses and carying on. But the sale of such players as Jack Cork, which is an excellent backup for the first team shows something is amiss. Unless he's on a stupid wage for his role (which I don't think he is) there is no reason to sell.

Hmm, pie.
