So Kojima and Del Toro are working together on the next Silent Hill(s). Silent Hill has sucked so bad over the years that i can't even remember where this mess of a franchise all started...... Just kidding, it's thanks to Silent Hill 4. I'm not sure if i'm supposed to be excited over the fact that Del Toro and Norman Reedus are going to be involved in this game but it's nice to see Kojima and Japanese devs (not sure if Team Silent) return to the series.

However, so far i am NOT impressed with the demo, interactive teaser, preview or whatever it is. It looks great and started out pretty good but was it scary? No. Perhaps for the first few minutes but after a while it just got downright boring. It's all about spotting the differences to get something new and zooming in objects when BAM OUT OF NOWHERE THE MONSTER GRABS YOU AND YOU PASS OUT OMG IT SO SCARYY!? Then you continue going over and over the same loop. I'm not expecting the entire game to be like this, but for those that are familiar with the series. Did any of this remind you of Silent Hill? It's nothing like it if you ask me, especially not with cheap jump scares.

I know they said this won't have any direct relation to the game but this teaser could be a sign that the next Silent Hill might actually be more like Amnesia, first person horror games rather than previous Silent Hill games. I know this has happened a bunch of times, Metroid Prime turned out to be great, Resident Evil 4 became one of the best games ever made and Street Fighter 4 worked out as well. But Silent Hill in first person? I don't know, sure we'll get rid of the lame camera and tank controls but that's what made it so damn scary and those issues have long been forgotten ever since RE4. I think they should take notes from The Evil Within which seems to be about real survival. Anyway if it ends up like the demo then it won't be Silent Hill... It'll be "Silent Amnesia" or "Amnesia Hill"

... Yea, that was terrible, let's just call it "Silent Hills"
