I can never get to play all the games I want on one console, so why would I think of getting a second when all that would do is increase the list of games I could play in theory but never will in practice. Audit will do nothing to actually increase the number of games I play per year.
But aside from that there is no reason to pay 2 subs. Chose the console you'll use for online play and go with that. If the other console has services you like then pay the subs, but look at it as buying other services (or pre buying games) rather than as another online subscription. The paying for online would never be a barrier to me getting a second console.
