I don't know why a townie would want to do that and why they wouldn't fight for their freedom or life. Perhaps that is just what kind of guy he is? Maybe he did have a vest and he knew it would protect him from being lynched, do they work like that?*{1} But why share that info?*{2} and why share he lost it?*{3} Perhaps he is a townie and he did lie and he simply did it to make a target of himself?*{4} I mean after all TheProf was targeted, most likely because he did the most detectvie work yesterday. 1. Not traditionally. Bulletproof, as the name implies, protects someone from a mafia shot, or sometimes a vigilante's shot. It's doesn't protect from lynching (few things do).
2. It happens a lot when people are about to die. Doesn't mean it's true.
3. I have no idea.
4. Actually, claiming bulletproof would probably make you less of a target, hence the confusion (where is rct, by the way?)
5. He's not an easy target. He's (probably) a vanilla townie now = less likely to be targeted, actually. Why waste a kill on a vanilla, when you got the chance to kill a power role.
Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to hear others' thoughts before I gave you mine.
