If GT = Gran Turismo:
Really? Why would you play a 3D racing game with a d-pad (unless GT was one of the early PS1 games before the dual-analogue controller)
Personally I think the d-pad should be scrapped in favour of face buttons (it is essentially just that in most games anyway, but 4 seperate buttons would feel nicer than the tilting d-pad) Then again I don't play fighting games which are supposedly far better with a d-pad, not sure why (button combos?) though I think fighting games would still work fine with a 4-button placement instead like the c directional buttons on the N64.
