I didnt catch most of the MS conference but both conferences left me with a "thats it?." I didnt know this was the reveal for Day Z, I clearly remember it being announced, but may have been thinking of H1Z1. Wild and Hellblade are indys and arent that big of a deal expecially due to me not trusting indys and their ability to look bigger/better than they are. PT was by far the best thing about the show(honorable mention to the temporary Tomb Raider internet meltdown) but what Sony showed, ("real reactions") was awful and cheezy. This was being built up by Sony forums as a big showing and it was more of an E3 recap show(for all parties, though I dont know what happened with EA). If this wasnt jam packed with month old news I obviously would be singing a different tune. Cautiously looking forward to TGS(where is Deep Down?) |
If you look I said 'most of sony's announcement was about something new to PS4' and DayZ is new to PS4.
WiLD is being made by the creator of Raman and beyond good and Evil, two proven, non-indie games/franchises. WiLD is being published by Sony, so that aint indie.
HellBlade is a spiritual sequel to Heavenly sword, from the company who made DMC, Heavenly sword & Enslaved. That game is not a 16 bit game, its a full on AAA game.
Also, sony did recap their first party titles, but in like 1 minute trailers right at the beginning. They spent a little long on Far Cry. Apart from those & Destiny, pretty much everything is a new ip or unannounced at sonys conference
