Compared to Microsoft who brought Fifa dlc which we already know about from last year fifa. Gamescom should be about showing off the future, the new games. Microsoft harpered too long on stuff we know is coming to xbox, at least most of sony's announcement was about something new to PS4 such as DayZ, WiLD, Hellblade etc. |
I didnt catch most of the MS conference but both conferences left me with a "thats it?." I didnt know this was the reveal for Day Z, I clearly remember it being announced, but may have been thinking of H1Z1. Wild and Hellblade are indys and arent that big of a deal expecially due to me not trusting indys and their ability to look bigger/better than they are. PT was by far the best thing about the show(honorable mention to the temporary Tomb Raider internet meltdown) but what Sony showed, ("real reactions") was awful and cheezy. This was being built up by Sony forums as a big showing and it was more of an E3 recap show(for all parties, though I dont know what happened with EA). If this wasnt jam packed with month old news I obviously would be singing a different tune. Cautiously looking forward to TGS(where is Deep Down?)
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
