Y'know, you should really move that wink.  I thought you were using paranthesis, and just forgot to close it on the left side.  If you press enter and do a wink, it's much more visable.  Example:

I hate you and I hope you die;)

Or 

I hate you and I hope you die

;)

Just a little less confusing, and less open to interpretation.
