They opened a dozen new studios over the years. They're working on something. Microsoft also has new stuff like Scalebound, Sunset Overdrive, and Project Spark. There isn't a shortage of new projects at Microsoft Studios.

The Wii U's first party games aren't enough to power it past the PS4. Microsoft knows you need more than first party games to sell, and this is why they moneyhat.

Sunset Overdrive isn't developed by a MS studio, and neither is Scalebound, and neither is Project Spark. Tgey are 3rd party exclusives.

And I'm guessing the new studios don't exist?

Lol, I find your defensiveness here amusing. Where did I post anything that made you think that? Was it just because I pointed out that your statement was factually incorrect? You said "MS also has new stuff like Scalebound, Sunset Overdrive and Project Spark." And I said that that was wrong, none of them are MS projects, that's like saying The rise of the Tomb Raider is an MS project just because it's exclusive (Project Spark isn't even exclusive, it's coming to PC and the 360 as well). Now if you want to have a discussion were you won't make assumptions on what other people think I'm okay with that, but you can't go around saying things that are plain wrong without expecting to be called out on it.

I'm just saying, you pointed out the three games I listed while talking as if the new studios don't exist.

Anyway, as for the three games, how are they not MS projects? Microsoft doesn't have to own the studio for the game to be a "1st party game". They funded the titles. I'm not insisting that every exclusive that shows up on Xbox is a "MS game", but the three that I listed definately are. Others have said MS doesn't invest in first party content. I was using those examples and the studios to show that they clearly do.
