Yep, that makes three of us. It is a solid pick-up for MS, but fan frustration is understandable. Then again, I'm not complaining - I'll be getting the Halo 5 Xbox One just before this launches (unless Quantum Break releases first ), so I'll be all set!

It's not even that solid for MS. Does TR sell consoles, especially Xbox consoles?
This is a bad deal for MS, bad deal for the fans. Only SQUARE/CD will be in the money, in exchange for being dicks to their fans.

If it wasn't a system seller before, a good deal of franchise fans will buy an Xbox for it. It won't be a Halo-style seller, but it makes a point for Microsoft - to have a game, exclusive to their machine, from a genre dominated by PlayStation.
I get both sides of this.

I suspect this is a $100 Million+ deal. Roughly speaking, I think they must sell 1 Million + consoles to break even on such a deal.
There's no way 1 Million people will buy XB1 for TR.

No way this is a $100 millions deal, that's about the cost of the previous TB game, and that was most likely that high because SE/CD is one of those developper who possess the ability to waste large amount of money during the dev process.
Can't even start to wonder how many millions of FF15 SE will need to sell to break even.
But one thing for sure, this deal won't help SE as much as they hope, they seems to have been doing their best to alienate their fanbase those last few years, it's bound to bite them in the *** at some point.
