Betrayal to fans? Microsoft is looking out for their own fans, and this deal made it possible for them to give their fans a game completely omptomized for the Xbox One. Microsoft is company, as is CD/SE. They aren't here to make sure every single gamer is happy. They are here to make money, and that's what Microsoft is giving them. Sony did the exact same thing with Final Fantasy when they stole it from Nintendo, and Nintendo did the exact same thing with Bayonetta 2. Like I said before, the industry isn't a fantasy land where the companies all work together to make everyone happy. No. They look out for themselves and their fans, and getting exclusive rights to games is one of the ways of doing so. If someone at CD heard this news, they would probably just be happy that Microsoft is paying for their salaries. They don't care if some people who only have a PS4 feel betrayed for whatever reason. |
Wow you are so wrong.
1. RotTR was already announced dor PS/PC at E3 and the Xbox was already getting it.So their fans were getting the game regardless.
2. The X1 is weaker so the game will not be at it's best and optimizing for the X1 will not make it run any better.
3. TR will not make them any money as they are having trouble selling their console with Titanfall, a price cut and several bundles.
4. Once again Sony NEVER paid for exclusives.Where do you people get that from? f hey did they would do it now.
5. Final Fantasy was not stolen from Nintendo as Square moved from the 64, because of Nintendo's stubborness to stick with cartridges. Look it up, it's well documented. FF sold much bette on PS anyway and became a global icon cause of Sony.
6. CD should care about the people who buy their games. You make no sense with that comment.
7. I feel like people just are ignoring the reality to defend MS.
