When you buy a console to play third party games on it, and a third party game gets moneyhatted into exclusivity on another console, you've every right to be pissed, though you should be more pissed with the third-party company than the moneyhatting first party. That said, when you buy a console because you believe multi-plats are better on that console, and the same company keeps moneyhatting things away from you and you don't want to buy their console because you believe it to be an inferior game for multiplats, it's understandable that you get angry with the moneyhatting company. Last gen, Microsoft did a lot of moneyhatting, but maybe it's just me, but I saw VERY little complaints about it then. Why? Probably because then, 360 was already the preferred console for multi-plats, so the moneyhatting was just overkill. This gen, Microsoft's console is no longer the preferred console for multi-plats, so their moneyhatting is getting really irritating.
I say all this as a guy who owns neither console, only the Wii U, and doesn't really play 3rd party games most of the time anyway, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt, but that's my understanding of where PS4 gamers are coming from. It's not a matter of being Sony fans, it's just the more popular console right now, and they want 3rd party games, but they want them on the system they think is better for them. Last gen, if Sony had moneyhatted a lot of things, they'd have been similarly criticized like Microsoft is being now, because their console was less popular. As far as I'm concerned, the 3rd-party that accepts a moneyhatting deal is always the one more deserving of hate.
