1. Why do people act ignorant to the facts when it is clear why people are upset? No one else does this but MS.
2. They did not do it for business or to make their console more attractive. They did it because they want to hurt Sony and because of their ego as usual. They paid to keep Tales of Vesperia from coming to the PS3 in the West as Namco stated. The game sells better on PS anyway, so they will not benefit from the game just like they failed to benefit from TF.
3. The game was already announced for the PS and PC as well and paying to take it away from people who have played it on another platform for years hurts gamers. People who bought the reboot have every right to be upset if they did not play the game on Xbox. I will never buy an Xbox so that argument about MS trying to get PS fans or improve their console is dead.
4. Money hatting kills competition as they are not actually competing and just using it for PR so people like you can praise them, even though it is bad for you too. You mention exclusive DLC, but than say people should not complain about a timed exclusive game that they have supported on PS for years ...really? MS started the DLC thing anyway.
5. I hate the timed exclusive thing period, even from Sony. They were forced to do it, because of MS and people complaining about them not throwing money at third parties. RotTR will come out for PS4 anyway so why waste money on a game that historically sells poorly on your console?
6. If Sony did this for something like Splinter Cell, I would say the same. Especially since I would rather they spend that money on another first party exclusive, which MS never does.
7. MS is trying to buy success, which is why the XboxOne is not an appealing console to begin with. They have nothing exciting to anyone not a big Xbox fan even with the TR announcement. This is why I never owned an Xbox as I can get the same games or games with the same experience on PS. U4 will be better than RotTR and Uncharted is already a bigger franchise so again it is a pointless move by MS.
8. Everything they pay for always goes multiplat one way or another and all you Xbox fans are left with is Gears, Halo, Forza and Fable every generation. That money should have been spent on reviving Conker or Kameo Nights which I actually would find attractive.
9. Lastly, they should be buying franchises like they did Gears, which is actually smart business.
