So according to that press release the sales are tracked up until the 10th. That means VGChartz is more like 500k off, not 700k-1m like some are saying. Still awful though.

Anyway, here are some comparisons:
Wii - 13.17 million shipped in 10 months, 11 days
PS4 - 10 million sold in 8 months, 26 days
Wii - 9.27 million shipped in 7 months, 11 days
PS2 - 10.61 million shipped in 1 year, 27 days (not quite fair considering it wasn't out in the US or Europe for about half that time)
Xbox One - 5 million shipped in 4 months, 26 days
Xbox 360 - 5.9 million shipped in 10 months, 8 days
Xbox 360 - 5 million shipped in 7 months, 8 days
PS3 - 5.63 million shipped in 10 months, 19 days
PS3 - 4.32 million shipped in 7 months, 19 days
Wii U - 3.91 million shipped in 10 months, 12 days
Wii U - 3.61 million shipped in 7 months, 12 days

Considering last week they adjusted by 200-300k then they were 700k off (as I said before and were quoted), for this week they were 500k off.
