Hopefully there will no longer be any signal drops for the early adopters (20/60gb units), as well as a longer lifespan for the controller (mine has started to exhibit strange behaviors in the 'home' menu - not responding to any commands).
However, the dualshock 3 probably won't fix the fact that Sony has the least accurate analog sticks (except for maybe the nunchuck...but at least we have the wiimote as a pointer there) and that the overall design of the controller should have been re-hauled years ago (this is, what, a 13 year old design? I want the boomerang!)
I'll still have to get one though, since my sixaxis is dying. I don't care about rumble though; I always turn it off first thing when I buy a game/console. |
You can't be serious...you want the boomerang? I hated just looking at that thing...I don't think the dualshock needs a re-haul...I like the analog design. |
I thinked it might have worked if they worked on the analog stick placement. Actually, I really wish they'd use their D-pad + buttons with Microsoft's analog sticks/controller shell. That would be the ultimate traditional controller.
