Everyone doesn't have a problem with moneyhatting if its their preferred console. Sony fans like it the least though because Sony doesn't do it as often as the others.

I complain about moneyhatting as well, but it's really nothing more than paying a developer to make a game for you.  It's the same as if you paid your own first party studio to make the game, although with an additional fee to secure it as exclusive.  Nowdays, if there was no moneyhatting, then there would be even less of a reason to get more than one console.  Nearly every game on the 360 was on the PS3, both consoles would be that much more similar without third party exclusives.
