Blacksite? Folklore? Sonic? Are you freaking kidding me? You may have a case for the others in specific regions (i.e. Dynasty Warriors in Japan).
And, as others have said, sales have risen substantialy year over year, and a good bit of that can be attributed to the release of good games. Maybe few spiked sales specifically, but taken as a whole they have caused people to buy ps3s.
Not to mention, this is MGS, and this particular MGS has the most hype of any MGS yet. This game will definitely sell systems.
