Was just writing about this. The gameplay will be familiar but has changes that makes high level play drastically different. Your character seems more naturally evasive. There seems to be a lack of armor, which is probably accounted for by the character's decidedly swifter moves. At one point we see him quickly move out of the way of a swing instead of roll. It may sound silly, but that's a real game changer, especially considering not a single blocked attack was shown, fitting in line with Miyazaki's claim that he wants to to remove slowly progressing with your shield raised.

I also wonder if there are more timed events in this game to encourage players to be less timid with their progression. Right before the giant werewolf type creature, we see what appears to be a common enemy freak out and then explode from within. It's pure speculation at this point, but what if enemies succumb more and more into madness as time passes and you must deal with transformations if too slow?
