Wasn't it originally announced as PS3 and PS4 game as well? The whole thing comes off as a massive middle finger to Playstation gamers, especially since the majority of the fanbase is on Sony consoles.

Well, when the latest Blazblue wasn't announced for 360 with a very crappy explanation of why (despite it releasing on Vita too), I felt like they were giving me the middle finger too. People just told me to go get a Ps3 to play it.

Tomb Raider was announced for PS4...
Thats the key thing.
A game being announced as an exclusive is very different from a game being announced as a multiplatform release, then someone like microsoft paying for the ps4 version to be canned or delayed. It would be exactly the same if sony bought exclusivity to Batman Arkham Knight after its already been announced for Xbox One.
Any respectable publisher would avoid this but clearly square enix is lacking in that department.
