padib and prof the antagonizing of each other is leading us nowhere.
I'm leaving soon so I'm gonna leave these thoughts out:
@padib: Right now, if you're telling the truth and we don't test your claim, the only ones who get free information are the Mafia. They know you're town, the know you used your power, they know if you've prevented a mislynch or if you've saved one of their own, they also know you're powerless and so they'll come looking elsewhere when comes to the time to choose a murder victim.
If you let us test out your claim then we even the playing field a bit more since the town will also know you're telling the truth, Mafia won't be able to write you off as a potential victim since a confirmed townie as very troublesome for them but they'll be scared to kill you because of the fear of protection from a doctor.
So testing out your claim screw with the Mafia's head and gives the town much needed information.
