That's some circular logic right there. You say we shouldn't talk about factions, you claim to be town, therefore if someone talks about factions they're not town because you say we shouldn't talk about factions?
Also, tell me how exactly someone can be on a multi-faction? You can't be on a multi-faction, multi-faction is a game setup, not a faction. Unless you're saying someone could belong to two factions at once? I suppose that's possible, but I doubt it.
If you want to talk about padibs claims, fine, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about factions too. It's not distracting the town, it's multitasking, something that I've been told I'm not good at, and admittedly I'm not. But I'll make an honest effort.
Padib claims to have a governor-like ability. If this claim is true, then outlawauron is safe, so it would be fine to vote him, but it would waste a night. If his claims are not true, they could be incorrect in many ways. There are too many variable for your test to work. Too many questions.
1. Does he actually have that power, or did he just happen to know about the mayor ability and thought it'd be worth risking claiming that role to get the heat off outlaw? If he doesn't have the power, he might just genuinely think outlaw is innocent and thought a really reckless bluff might work. If he does, then we waste a lynch and don't nail a mafia, merely confirm a town.
2. Is outlaw innocent? If he's not, and padib is lying, then we kill a mafia, and have reason to suspect padib is on outlaw's team. If he is, and I'm pretty sure he is, then we kill an innocent, and why would mafia lie to save an innocent? This would confirm padib to be town, thus failing to nail a mafia while at the same time killing an innocent.
3. Did padib actually use his power? Perhaps he wasn't lying about the power, but about whether he used it or not? This seems like the most likely situation to me, as lying about using the power would have the same effect on votes as actually using the power, but you retain the power to either back up your claim if necessary, but if it becomes no longer necessary, you can use the power later. Padib is experienced, so I feel like he'd see this. If we do this test of yours, and padib is lying about having used the power, he'll be forced to waste the power to back his credibility as town, thus wasting a town power and a lynch.
So to me, we run a lot of risks with this experiment. I'm hoping padib had the common sense not to actually use his power, in which case it would also be common sense to lie that he did. I won't press padib on this because it would not be in the interest of town to force him to reveal if he still has his power. You seem bent on forcing him to reveal whether or not he used his power, all on the off chance that he doesn't have the power in the first place, in which case we could still be killing a town.
Meanwhile, we have a good case on RCT. RCT has given a hint to his role, saying it involves self-protection. What role could involve that?
