The DS3 lists for $55 MSRP, making the Sixaxis $5 cheaper. I imagine the price of the DS3 will drop to $50 once Sixaxis inventory has been cleared.

The whole issue with the Sixaxis is very subjective and was blown way out of proportion, but hey; that's why vibration is back by popular demand. Maybe people will finally stop complaining about the initial omission, but... not likely.

The Sixaxis currently goes for $44 on Amazon. Pretty safe to say the price won't go up after the DS3 is available, but I doubt there will be any fire sales in the immediate future. No rush to buy one now anyway.
