It's the truth tho. You only buy the right to use something. it doesn't make it yours. It doesn't matter if you build a toaster or a work of art, you create something with your mind heart and hands and it's yours forever, and no one can take that away from you. Take the Mona Lisa for example. The painting was purchased by countless people/ museums since it's creation but it's known throughout history that it's one true owner, it's creator is Leonardo da Vinci. So yeah I would say that because it's true, you are only purchasing the right to use that item in any way you see fit. That's how copyright/patent law works.
