You went from "Right now, we are relatively sure that mafia can't talk." Which would be true if you were a townie because all we know is WoW's words here: *snipped*

All we know so far is that mafia can talk at night. WoW did not and could not confirm that there are roles that subvert that. So how do you know? How do you now magically know that they can talk during the day?*{5} It's not possible for us to know that. Yet now you say twice and assume twice that you know Mafia can talk during the day. If you were a townie there is no way you could know that. So here is substantial slip #1

This is substantial slip #2. How do you know we can't have 10 mafia, and how do you know we should be looking for 5? *{6} My understanding is the rule of the game is informed minority Vs. uninformed majority. There are 15 of us I don't know but I'm not about to discount the possibility that there could be multiple factions. In a PM WoW said it was possible but gave another red herring like with talking day/night and niether confrimed or denied its existance in this game. In your first game that you shared you were in a seperate faction. So the most we can know is that it's a possibilty. If it was broken down into 3 factions it would still follow the rule of the game so long as none of the factions know who each other are. It would make sense considering his "usually" comment as well as this quote.

Notice the Mafia / Scum?*{7} I don't know but that could be a clue that there is a faction called Mafia and a faction called Scum. So we don't know it can or can't be 10. Also how do you know we should be looking for 5? Why not 7 or 9? How is it you magically know that there can't be 10 and that we should be looking for 5? Looks like another slip to me.*{6 again}

Why the chnage in heart? *{8} Before you were all gung ho and adamant that someone needed to be kicked out first day. Then people start talking about their characters and you did something really suspicious by parroting Noname and claiming that the characters don't matter *{9}

1. To be honest, I also got the impression that you knew something and slipped, from the way you wrote the question. But your answer later convinced me that that wasn't the case.

2. By not answering, he left room for a noob mafioso to slip and answer, especially with no caoching from pro mafia at the time. They didn't bite, but it was worth a shot.

3. Literally nothing. RCTjunkie's vote should be more concerning to you. He's no noob. I'll stop there. <--- FYI, I'm stopping to avoiding coaching.

5. It was to trick IkePoR, who didn't correct him if you recall. Only noname2200 did. Think about it. He was a active part of the conversation when this happened. Do you reeeeally think he forgot or something and slipped? On the other hand, he proved that IkePoR wasn't paying any attention to what's going on.

6. Read a bit about mafia and you'll know why the numbers don't work. Plus, you really think he's that stupid? Prof, you should be offended ;)

All in all, I still like you. Those are just mistakes a newcomer is bound to make. And thanks if you've gotten this far : p

To me those looked like slips. As far as I know they still are slips. I don't know if he's stupid or not but I have no doubt that smart people can make slips too. If I've made mistakes I'm sorry, I am trying to learn. I gave my reasons and listened to his defence. It was not convincing. I've tried to have an open mind and see what other people thought about it like you for instance, and I've tried to see him with other people. Which hasn't exactly been easy when he tried to rehash things and push me. Which I found to be overly distracting. However I have been watching and thinking of things intently. I'm going to keep an eye on prof but I can't deny the chaso he has created. I'm looking at outlaw and I can understand some of the arguments again them. For now I am unconvinced.

It would be foolish to deny the results he's gotten even if I don't trust him. I see that I may have made some mistakes and honestly he's been the only one I have had any kind of deep and meaningful debate with, even if I tihnk it was too focused and too much time was spent on it. I'm just going to try anf focus on the logic of things and watch things more closely.
