Hmm, I like your logic for outlawauron. I'm sticking to my prof vote for now, and I don't quite think I'd be ready to commit to a vote for outlaw, but we'll see how the first night goes. I'll keep an eye on him. In the meantime, RCT is the most absent, but IIRC he's claimed more than once now that it's just his playstyle because there's nothing to go off of. Honestly, that makes sense to me, and I was considering going that route until my own nature got the better of me (I can't stand sitting back and watching, I rack disciprine!), but he could have at least contributed something. But that would put him in IkePoR's boat, with a bunch of non-votes. I'll admit, they're both somewhat suspicious, but not really that much. The logic here is the same for both, and even applies a little to outlawauron: It's the first day, there's nothing to go off of. If this sort of approach continues into the second day, I'd start to really suspect them both.
In defense of my vote for prof, and why you should vote him too: at some point, you mentioned (I think it was you) that you don't think mafia have a reason to be super aggressive first day, but prof himself has said that being aggressive first day has gotten him killed multiple times, and is now using that as an argument to defend himself. If he felt that it was so dangerous, you'd think he'd learn from it and change his playstyle. Instead, he's literally being twice as aggressive as everyone else, with over twice as many contributions and twice as many posts as the next most active person, according to the last count I saw. If trying hard is a townie move, then I think he's trying TOO hard to be seen as a townie. A typical mafia move, according to several people on here, including yourself, is to lay low and just barely contribute anything. Prof mentioned at some point the term "yomi", which he said means acting differently than you would otherwise be expected to based on other people's knowledge of how you should be behaving. He seems like a very experienced player to me. So I think he's trying to be different from the typical, expected mafia move to lay low and contribute just enough to seem active, and instead do what a veteran player would expect of a dedicated townie. His strategy is based around fooling a veteran player, based on what a veteran player would expect, or at least, what veteran players in this thread have claimed to suspect. He's trying too hard though, in my opinion, even for a dedicated townie, and others have made arguments why this could be harmful. It draws attention to what he wants drawn attention to, which can create opportunities for anyone he's missing to lay low. I think he's mafia, but I want him gone, even if he's not.
As for why no one has voted for his accusations, I suspect that's because his explanations and arguments are so long that I'm not the only person to admit they've started skimming at this point. I'm trying to keep my post lengths down to avoid this issue. I'm not trying to be a dick, but it's quite honestly starting to irritate me at this point. I'll admit my emotions may be clouding my judgement, so feel free to take that into account. Honestly, I do see your logic about outlawauron, so if it comes down to a tie near the end of the day between prof and outlaw like it is right now, I'll probably change my vote to prof, but for now I'm sticking to prof.
