Metro 2033 improvements look incredible compared to the originial imo. I have to say that compared to some of the "remastered" games that have been released, this one actually looks like it is worth buying.

Lol, I know, I was just adding on to what you had stated. Developers out there need to take a page out of 4A's books when it comes to remastering because this is how it should be done.
