So sick of the whole "this gen has no games" talk. Here is the truth.

That doesn't make sense. Dead Rising 3, ZombiU and Killzone:Shadowfall are true next gen games.

Honestly, I don't think any of those games you listed could not be done on previous hardware. Maybe some slight graphical limitations, but seriously nothing is really next gen about them. 

Not to say any of them are bad games. 

In the case of "games that only use next gen hardware tablet" you could add a tablet accessory to the Wii and nobody would know the difference. 

You say that like Kameo: Elements of power or Resistance could not be done on previous hardware, with maybe some slight graphical limitations. That doesn't make them less seventh gen games, though :)

In the sense of the term "7th or 8th gen", then yes. Killzone Shadow fall is every bit 8th gen that Kameo is 7th gen. That is a fact

 

However people mostly argue the fact that there are few "truely next gen" games on the 8th gen so far. Games that absolutely could NOT be done on previous hardware. 

For the most part, I agree with them. But when just comparing the librairy we have in the 8th gen so far, there have already been some great games that are really worth playing. I just am saying that people should be patient when it comes to that "truely next gen" experience. 

 

Games like Gears of War, or Uncharted Drakes Fortune were simply too much for the 6th gen (Xbox/Ps2) to handle. Whereas Shadow fall could be put on Ps3 right now. Albeit not as great of an experience, Killzone 2 and 3 are already great looking games and Shadow Fall isn't like leagues ahead of them.
