I think you missed my point. So, I'm gonna give up. You're right, I'm wrong. Sorry for wasting your time.

No, no, please explain your point if you have one. I did somewhat agree with you that France has been bigger in some years than the UK.

My point is that the UK is no longer #1. I'll concede that Germany may or may not be tied with the UK, if not, lower by a small numbers. However, France is on fire in Europe. Even with that said, no one talks about France or Germany. It's always about the UK. I find that odd.

Well I somewhat I agree. France and the UK have been very close since 2012 and France has sold a higher amounnt once. However, lets look at the sales of 7th gen consoles using VGC numbers (although they aren't the most accurate, they can give a general idea of sales):

  UK France
Wii 8,642,483 6,253,820
360 8,892,255 3,518,435
PS3 5,920,189 5,186,872
Total
23,454,927
14,959,127

You can see that 7th gen consoles sold much more in the UK compared to France. Moreover, the reason why UK sales slowed after 2012 was because the market probbaly got saturated with 7th gen consoles.

So whilst I agree that France and the UK have been close in terms of console sales after 2011, the reason was because most of the console sales in the UK occured in the first half of the generation. I hope this convinces you that the UK is still the largest console market in Europe, because I put a little bit of effort into it

But you're using 7th gen numbers. This would be data going all the way back to 2006. I'm talking about data going from 2010 forward. The transition from 7th gen to 8th gen brought about a serious decline in video game revenue in the UK. Places such as France and Germany are becoming more relevant.

Using VGC is fine for unit sales, but for revenue, you gotta look at legit sources. I gave you a source and you didn't like it. So, I asked you to provide me a source and you gave me a reasonable one, but it didn't have France's numbers. I have a feeling that you're seeing what I'm saying, but refuse to acknowledge it.
